Senior Tax Accountant / Tax Manager (CPA)

Atlanta Metro Area | Hybrid Schedule

A well-established public accounting and advisory firm is seeking a Senior Tax Accountant or Tax Manager (CPA) to join its growing team. This is a unique opportunity for a tax professional who enjoys working directly with clients, providing strategic tax guidance, and managing a diverse portfolio of business and individual tax engagements.

The ideal candidate will bring a strong tax background, exceptional client service skills, and a desire to play a key role in the future growth of the practice.

Key Responsibilities
Prepare and review complex business and individual tax returns, including corporate returns (1120s).
Provide proactive tax planning and consulting services to clients.
Manage client relationships and serve as a trusted advisor.
Review financial information and assist with accounting and bookkeeping matters as needed.
Work closely with business owners and key stakeholders to identify tax-saving opportunities.
Support and mentor junior staff when appropriate.
Contribute to business development and client retention efforts.
Qualifications
Active CPA license required.
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
Public accounting experience with a strong emphasis on tax.
Experience preparing and reviewing individual and business tax returns.
Tax planning and consulting experience preferred.
Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
Comfortable working directly with clients and managing key accounts.
Experience with UltraTax or similar tax software is preferred.
Compensation & Benefits
Salary Range: $80,000 - $100,000, with flexibility for highly qualified candidates.
Contract-to-hire and direct-hire options available.
